These are very light weight which will be easier for my aging hands to pick up. However, I wouldn't even consider using them on a gas stove. They're so lightweight that I would guess aluminum but the box says stainless steel. As we were putting the handles on we got to the last lid and was one screw short. So overall, I wouldn't buy these as a gift for anyone and I can't wait to see what the dishwasher does to them. Tomato sauce could be interesting as well.

You get what you pay for.

While the product looks pretty, it's not worth wasting your money on. The entire bundle probably doesn't weigh 10 pounds. It's cheaply made and even though the lids are glass, you have to attach the handles onto the lids. The largest pan, wothout the lid, weighs less than half a pound. These will work in a pinch, but I can not recommend them for every day use.

These are the CHEAPEST pots there are!! SO THIN and DENTS and the smallest one is CRACKED!! Thought it was a great deal. Laugh is on me!! I boiled potatoes in the little one that has a crack in it to see if it is going to run or not. So far it is good, but you can't go past the crack, or it will leak!! Had to us a scratcher on it because there is a ring where the water was and it won't come out!!! DON"T DROP These or the WILL DENT Even MORE then when I received them!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! My Daughters toy kitchen set of pots are heaver then these!! I may have to trade her!!! Not worth sending back!! Don't want someone else to get these JUNK POTS!! I have nothing Good to say about these except SHAME ON YOU for SELLING JUNK!!!! Food sticks really BAD to these because of how thin they are!! The Lids are CHEAP and so are the handles on the lids!! SAVE YOUR MONEY DON"T BUY PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!
