Kurgo Big Baxter Dog Backpack, Adjustable Saddlebag for Hiking, Walking, Running, Camping, Coastal Blue

We bought this bag for two reasons. 1) because we need a bag for hiking and overnight trips. And 2) she is reactive so we read that backpacks give a job to do for some dogs helping them to focus more on the walk and less on the surrounding. So we've been using the bag on daily walks, with some sand in each side bag to give it a bit of weight. We've been very happy with the quality and adjustability of this bag. We had tried out a couple but this one stood out because we can adjust depending on the weight. We have a trip planned in the next few weeks so it's been great so far and we have no concern that she will be comfortable carrying her gear to the campsite. We bought the red one and people have been stopping us complimenting on how good she looks.

This is great backpack and we had one before for about 5 years. I washed it in the washer (despite instructions stating not to) few times and last time it got ripped... The backpack is shorter than the one we had before and looks funny on my dog. :) I like the quality. I would like to return only because it doesn't fit the body longer than I wanted.
