1986 Bumblebee

This Transformers Bumblebee is based off the 1986 TV Series. It IS a small figure, so it is accurate with the cartoon (so keep that in mind when purchasing this figure). I have the Transformer Grimlock and a Hot Wheels Monster Truck as a comparison for the size difference. Overall, it is a good addition to any toy collection.

I had a coupon and it was on sale. Honestly I would say it's def worth the sale price and thank goodness for my coupon because it helped saved money. Wouldn't say full price is recomended but the sale price is good. The robot being small is a plus because of the scale, however it only game with a single gun (as shown in product images) and I think that Hasbro could have eigther lowered the price since the is is an A level assortment meaning it's not within the assorted generations deluxe cases, or they could have packed in one more ace price to make full use of their deluxe budget. That's not Walmarts fault more of Hasbro not using the full lengths of their budget.

have been a fan since g1 and always preferred bumblebee as the spunky yet reliable scout he was back then to the balls out psycho warrior they turned him into with the beyverse and this figure is straight up nostalgia bate as it was intended to be. the aesthetics are right in-line with the original g1 toy but with a cartoon robot mode and that is appreciated as well. the only issue i have is with the original price point being a deluxe $24.99, which is a hasbro deal since they did away with the scout size of figure and a smaller figure that still fits with the rest of the line size wise falls under the deluxe banner. that alone was going to make me pass on this figure altogether as it has every other figure they have release the past few years. i got this guy on clearance for $16.99 though and that felt justifiable to my adult mind as its almost a 40% price reduction and would make it a bargain even if it were scout class. the transformation is solid and as far as the studio series figures go, i feel this is one of the finer produced. if you can get it at a similar price as i paid, its well worth the money.
