Awesome for STEM-enthusiastic kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10 year old son loves all things science, nature and exploration. …Also, he’s a video game kid and definitely has a thing for Minecraft. This kit from BBC Earth includes everything a child (or interested adult) needs to grow their own crystals! One thing, some areas state that this boxed experiment is for ages 12 and up. On the box itself it states “8+” so I’d encourage only responsible younger preteens or parents who are paying attention to what their kids are doing!

Fun and easy experiment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fun kit to do. It was quick and easy to set up. The hardest part is waiting for the crystals to grow! The two photos I have in my review were taken a week apart, so it takes some time to grow them before you can add the coloring. Overall, I think it’s a cool kit to do with your kids and get them interested in things that aren’t in a screen!
