nuLOOM Penelope Braided Wool Area Rug, 6' x 9', Penelope Off-white

I’ve been wanting to buy this rug for over a year and finally took the plunge. What I wish I’d known beforehand was that I needed to think through whether doors would be able to close over the rug, because the rug is so thick. I wasn’t able to use it in the room I originally planned for that reason, so now we’re using it in a different room. Still love it, just wish I’d gotten a smaller size to avoid it being in the swing zone of any doors. It definitely makes a room instantly more cozy!

The rug looks good, but sheds ALOT!!! I hope it eventually stops shedding! I put the rug in a low foot traffic area, but still have so much shedding. Otherwise it looks great! Like a chunky knit sweater. I wonder if it’s worth it to just spend the extra for the pottery barn version in hopes that one doesn’t shed as much.
