Finally, you can attach this to the drink tube from most bladders for use with unfiltered water. Sawyer filters, this one included, can be back flushed with clean water. Making Sawyer filters capable of lasting for years instead of one time use. I downgraded Durability because a long term filter should come in a stronger case. If you ever need this device, it would be disaster to find a connector snapped off.
