Best monitor for Nvidia and AMD

This 2K monitor with Tom's Hardware settings (https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/aoc-ag271qx-agon-27-inch-freesync-monitor,4860-2.html ) is by far the best I have ever experience for both Nvidia and AMD. The freesync range for monitor starts at 30FPS and goes to 144FPS. I am using an AMD Rx Vega 56 Air Boost and on a seperate computer a GTX 1080 FE and both cards give a flawless picture and playback at maximum settings on AAA game titles. No tearing or stuttering observed. VERY pleased with the flawless panel, the stand, solid contruction, design and quality. Recommend anyone to purchase

It's OK, but not great.

Well, this was my very first AOC monitor, and overall I'm not very impressed. I bought this monitor and kept it for a few days, but I just could not get the color right, even with suggestions from pro reviews on the net it just seemed off no matter what I did. I felt I absolutely NEEDED a Colorimeter just to calibrate it correctly. The SRGB setting had accurate colors, but they locked the brightness so high on that setting, I couldn't bare to look at it very long. It felt like staring at the sun. Also, I could not live with the bad viewing angle (which seemed a LOT lower than 170 degrees to me) but I know that is due to it being a TN panel. The FreeSync worked flawlessly with my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card with the newest drivers, and once you play games at 144Hz you will never go back to anything lower. It was nice and smooth with the exception of some certain games having a slight flickering. With this monitor I also had this weird ghosting effect with any kind of text on the Windows desktop (especially my FireFox or Chrome browser) that could not be fixed by setting the overdrive to different values. It drove me nuts. The monitor came with no dead pixels, had VERY LITTLE backlight bleed, had a really nice stand, came with DP and HDMI cables and everything seemed really solid quality. Overall, it's not a bad monitor, but when I considered the fact that I paid $400 on a TN panel and paired it with the feeling I needed to buy a $200 Colorimeter just to get the colors half way accurate, I couldn't live with it, so I returned it (returns to Walmart are so fast and easy, very happy with that) and spend that extra cash on an IPS panel with a full 178 degree viewing angle and accurate SRGB setting so I don't have to play with the settings all day just to make it look decent.
