its a love hate relationship depending on the day, i have it set to the coldest almost all the time so its definitely putting in work. the noise level isnt too bad especially if you enjoy white noises. its definitely designed for a smaller room, it didnt do too well in my living room. instead of making it cold it just felt not that hot in my loving room plus some days it was cooler outside than inside
