This works great with the string lights we hung on the deck! The remote works well for turning the on and off, just plug the lights into it, and it to the outlet. The dimmer is great for setting the mood, bright for dinner and cards, dim them for relaxing!!

I have a couple of the 2 outlet remotes and really like them. I decided to try the outlet remote with the dimmer option! I was surprised on how well it worked, The dimmer option worked great, it didn't miss a beat. I'm really glad I ordered it.
