It works but anennta location is difficult.

The tablo is nice and moatly easy to set up. However, trying to find the right location for the antenna is difficult. I started with a router from my new internet company. It was not strong enough fot the whole house. I went back to my mesh router and thank goodness I did. The tablo has to be connected to your router. With the first router, it would have to be in my office. The amount of channels was ok but not all of the local major channels were received. I got NBC and ABC, not CBS or Fox. Fortunately, my mesh router has two mini towers. I was able to connect the Tablo to that router and move it around the house to get the best reception. It is in my dining room window. The coaxial cabke that connects the antenna to the Tablo is big and awkward. I did receive sticky pads to stick the antenna to the window and 3 sticky backed clips for the cable. I would suggest buying an antenna from somewhere else and not going with their's. Ones that plug in and sit on the table would probably be better, they just need the coaxial cable connector. When the signal is good, the picture is fantastic. Overall, I thought tge Tablo was a little expensive and was not happy with tge antenna.

don't be in a hurry

it is so slow operating that it's like dial-up days. I got one that included the antenna and the antenna that I had did a better job. The menu is terrible and everything about this unit is slow and time-consuming. It is nice to record antenna TV is one good thing I can say about it.
