Disney Munchlings Mini Munch Displays, 7-piece Figure Set, Color Change, Scented

This was a last-minute Christmas gift as my 7 y/o discovered Munchlings after seeing them in an advertisement. She loves small toys like mini-brands and the My Life accessories, as well as the Disney Doorables, so I felt confident this is something she would enjoy. She was so excited to open this gift. The mini foods were really cute (and scented!) and had a variety of characters (Pooh, Stitch, Donald Duck, and Wall-E). We also both loved that it came with a little case that stores all the snacks so you can either play pretend like it's a restaurant/snack cart, or use it to store them all together when you're done playing. I will say, the snow cone munchlings don't really want to stay up in the hole meant for them in the rack inside the case. My daughter wasn't really bothered by it, but if your kid is particular about that kind of thing, I could see it being frustrating. I got this on sale, so I definitely thought it was worth the price, but I might balk at paying full price for it. Still, I can see me buying more of these in the future to add to my kid's collection.

My daughter is a sucker for any “mystery bag” items, and is a huge Disney fan, so these were a no-brainer. She already loves Doorables—these are the logical next step for her. Note that they are similar in size to Doorables, so if you have an orally curious child, they'll definitely need to be supervised. My 3yo (knock on wood) never really went through a “must taste everything!” phase, so she's been playing with similar toys for over a year now. I'm positive we'll end up getting more of these—which is honestly fine with me because she absolutely loves them and they're tiny, therefore easy to store. Also, pro tip for if your child also has a million tiny toys like this—they make wonderful board game pieces! My daughter loves going through her collection before we play Candy Land and deciding which character we each get to be. They're perfectly sized for it!
