I got this because even just a regular stand wasn't enough to cool my laptop, this has not only cooled my laptop but added a not insignificant amount of performance back into my games. The only thing is the "dual USB ports" isn't a true dual usb ports, since one of them will always be used to power the fans. Otherwise a great product that works as intended
