We mix a measured amount with a small amount of hot water. Stir to distribute the ligiid with the food. It makes a sort of gravy. Benji, our Havanese doesn't like it dry. Fixed this way, he eats it to the very last piece of food and licks the bowl clean.

Cricket Loves It!
I have a Chihuahua that I rescued from a breeder. Cricket was 8 when I adopted her and had had that many litters of puppies. She has a hernia bigger than a golf ball. When I took her to the vet for an exam they had to pull all of her teeth they were so bad. Since I started feeding Hill's Science Diet Adult 7+ Active Longevity Small Bites Cricket's health has improved dramatically. She has perked up and is a happy girl.
