I bought 2 pairs of pants like this on same day, both made the same way and style, only different color patterns. I am so pleased withthese pats. Fabric is not too think and they are "business casual" so I wear them to work. Love the colors. The only thing that would have made them a ten out of ten is if they had beltloops. But they do have pockets, so that is fine with me.

Pockets are deep enough to place keys or a small wallet in but not big enough for a cell phone. I am 5'1" and purchased the petite length and they hit right at the ankle.
