I purchased this for my granddaughter who picked it out herself. She is in her teens. The elastic waist is nice since we weren't sure of the size. According to the chart, she should've ordered an extra large and I knew that wasn't correct. The medium size looks like it will probably fit a size 8 to 10. the fabric is lightweight and will be nice for summer. It also has a thin, soft lining, which gives the skirt body and makes it hang better. We may have to shorten the link, but the lining stops at about 10 inches above the bottom hem, it will be easy to shorten. She loves the olive green color.
