As good as it gets

Mediasonic homeworx has mixed reviews on Amazon, but I've used them for many years and have never had any issues with anything. One note: The item description says using a flash drive for recording is not recommended, but I've used one for a long time and never had a problem. It's a really good unit at a very reasonable price.

It works as described. If you have a booster for your antenna, remove it or turn it down. The channels will come in more stable. I've tried so many boxes, I lost count. I enjoyed this one so much, I ordered another one. You don't have to have Prime an order to get your packages in a reasonable amount of time. I am satisfied with this purchase and most of my other many, many purchases from Walmart and the sellers on this platform.

A flawed, cheap solution for SDTV antenna users .

There is no time/date override when the auto-set glitches during daylight hours. The electrical cord is shorter than that of the RCA DTA 880. I have yet to install a 2048 GB external hard drive successfully, only a 32 GB flash drive to connect to my smartphone. The bright numbers make it a dubious choice for the bedroom, and 32 GB can hold about thirty hours of SDTV or six of HDTV depending on the settings. I like it for watching pre-2008 SDTV shows on older CRT or 4:3 screens.
