You're not getting what you're shown.

It's not the brand name product. I have the original FurZappers and they wear away over time (getting smaller and thinner). The ones I received are smaller than what is currently left of my original pair. They aren't the same feel of material though I have no doubt they're both silicone. They likely do the same job but these aren't going to last as long and I felt like I paid “name brand” price for smaller knockoffs. I leave these in the washer, just pull off the clumps of hair/fur wrapped on them after each wash. They do work in the dryer but you'll periodically have to throw them through the wash cycle anyways. I find the Bounce pet hair sheets work better in the dryer.
