I cannot express words on how good this device really is ( I would give this ten stars). When I first purchased the obliterator the starting test I conducted was a full pitcher of ice. It literally turned it into snow. Every smoothie, blended concoction..everything...came perfect. It feels like a space age device with literal ' out of this world value'. Please consider this is almost 200 more horsepower than the ninja and the price is lower! buy it, make it a gift...it's spectacular.

This blender is a statement for sure! It's sleek beautiful and works like a dream. I've made smoothies, milkshakes, frappes, and looking forward to venturing into soups and other recipes. So far it has blended ice, and hard frozen fruits of various sizes, to a smooth liquid state never showing slowdowns and with no smoke or smell of burning up motor as other blenders I've recently purchased. what I dislike about this blender is the pitcher is not glass it's plastic. I'll deal with it for the more powerful motor and blades!!
