Key item features
- Artisan Craftsmanship: This 5' x 8' area rug is hand-woven in India, featuring a dense and curly shag pile for a plush, comforting feel and marvelous depth.
- Material Composition: Constructed with a 1.5-inch pile height from 100% polyester pile, offering a durable and easy-care shag.
- Care Recommendations: Regular vacuuming (preferably without beater bars) and spot cleaning are recommended; professional cleaning for tough stains and rotating the rug every 3-6 months to prevent uneven wear.
- Installation Guidance: A rug pad (sold separately) is recommended to prevent shifting and sliding, and rug protectors should be used under heavy furniture to avoid pile flattening.
- Environmental Considerations: Avoid direct sunlight exposure to prevent color fading; temporary creases from packing will gradually recede with back-rolling or ample settling time.
- Design Versatility: An easy and fashionable way to refresh a room with character and style, available in multiple colors and sizes.

Disappointed - rug not as it appears in photo!
The actual rug is nothing like the photo! It ISN'T a fluffy 'shag' rug. It is a low, looped pile. It was NOT as the title describes NOR the photo. I would return it if I had time, but I bought it for my son, who's moving into his first place very soon. So, I simply don't have time to deal with it. Disappointed.
