Boogey Lights Heavy Duty LED Strip

Boogey Lights® 12vdc HEAVY DUTY LED STRIPS are designed to be used in tough, outdoor, commercial and industrial applications where the light strip might be subject to direct impact, rocks, road debris, snow melting chemicals or frequently submersed in water. IP67 rated, the flexible PVC provides an extra, dual layer of protection above and beyond our already tough LED light strips. Ideal for heavy duty trucks, wreckers, off-road machines, ATVs, side-by-sides, tool box compartments, vehicle storage bins, truck beds and similar commercial or industrial applications. Also ideal for marine applications where the LEDs will be frequently submerged in water (e.g. boat trailers) although these LED strips are not classified as marine grade. Depending upon length, each Heavy Duty LED Strip contains between 15 and 75 high-intensity super-bright 5050 tri-chip LEDs. No other Heavy Duty LED strip on the market today has more LEDs per foot than Boogey Lights®. The PCB is black, created with 2 ounce copper and encased in industrial grade PVC with 1.2mm of 3M® VHB tape affixed to the back. The end caps have a screw hole allowing these strips to be screwed to the mounting surface for additional holding power. They require 12vdc power. Available in five lengths: 12", 22", 32", 42" and 52". Each Heavy Duty LED strip include a 36" power lead hard wired to one end of the LED strip. The single color LED strips are 1/2" wide and 1/4" tall. The dual color LED strips are 3/4" wide and 1/4" tall. Boogey Lights® HEAVY DUTY LED STRIPS are offered in six single color formats: RED, GREEN, BLUE, AMBER, WHITE and ORANGE. These single color strips have three diodes per LED chip. In addition, we offer two dual color formats: REDA and REDW. The Dual Color LED strips have FOUR diodes. The REDA led strip has three diodes of RED and a fourth diode of AMBER. The REDW led strip has three diodes of RED and a fourth diode of WHITE. These dual color formats are typically used in situations where the LED strip is being used with a tail-turn-brake (or reverse light) application. Also, they're used on wreckers and tow trucks where a flasher or strobing controller is added. In all cases, each diode has its own 12vdc+ power lead so the diodes can be powered/controlled individually if you want. Even though these Heavy Duty LED strips can be screwed to the mounting surface, the screws only hold the ends. They will not secure the middle of the strip to the mounting surface. It's important to prepare the surface using 3M® 94 Adhesion Primer first. This adhesion primer is NOT included. Using 3M® 94 Adhesion Primer will make sure the strip does not fall off. If you don't use it, the strip will fall off. Also, the strip must be mounted flat against a contiguous, straight rigid mounting surface. Strips cannot be bent around corners or on a horizontal plane. The entire strip must be secured to the mounting surface. Do not span across multiple mounting surfaces. While Boogey Lights® LED light strips might look similar to other products, don't be fooled. Everything about Boogey Lights® LED products are different.
