this is by far the nicest doodle pad I've found. the old originals have gotten very cheap, and most of the alternatives have too. This one actually draws rainbow, and it's got a good weight and structure to it. Also, the magnet stamps snap into their holders - less likely to get lost that way. I remember that used to be the case with the original magnadoodles. I will definitely be buying these as gifts for my kids' cousins!

Bought for my almost 2 yr old granddaughter. Great toy. She plays with it all the time. The magnets work well and don't fall off. The pen is attached so it doesn't get lost. She likes writing and erasing over and over again. It's a good toy while riding in the car. I recommend it.
