Looks nice but kind of flimsy, no big kids on top

It looks nice, the price was good, but you get what you pay for. This is not a very sturdy bed, the wood is really thin, and there is no length wise support underneath the cross slats for the top bunk. Do not put a large child or teenager on top, I wouldn't trust it to support them. The shelves on the side are a nice space saver addition to the bunk, but the drawers underneath are a big disappointment. Way too small! It assembled alright, but the directions are unclear, mainly just pictures. It's a good thing we've done something like this before and knew what it was supposed to be like.
