High Ceilings? Problem Solved!
My daughter rented an apartment with hìgh ceilings (<10ft) and it was impossible to change a light bulb or smoke detector battery. I'm 5'8 and was able to reach the ceiling with ease. This ladder is perfect! The steps are wide and non-slìp. The ladder folds up and (without the rails) stores easily. we bought the black version and it looks great to boot!

It is relatively easy to put the ladder together. Had some trouble attaching the safety handles, but it was easy once we determined the top of the safety handles should be screwed into the assembled ladder first. To get the handle screw holes to line up with the ladders' at the top, the handles must be held perpendicular to the ladder, which is not possible if the lower part of the handles have already been attached .

I highly recommend this ladder. This is well designed, stable, not too heavy to move around the house and I feel very safe. I ordered this to repair areas of peeling paint on a ceiling. The only assembly is attaching the hand rails and shelf which are excellent feature. I bought this when it was NOT on a Flash Deal and thought the price was good.
