5 star bug stopper but bad sprayer experience

5 stars for the effectiveness but very much not happy with the sprayer function failure. The minty odor does not smell very obnoxious and it knocks down fruit flies and drain flies right away. On the other hand the sprayer stopped working properly and got real erratic before the bottle was half used sometimes emitting a stream instead of a misty spray and completely failing to fire several times.

We thank you for your feedback. The Zevo spray features a plastic bottle with a trigger sprayer that has two settings for mist or stream. Sometimes sprayers can get clogged or act erratically, so we suggest cleaning the nozzle or ensuring it is fully pressed for a consistent spray. Our products undergo rigorous quality checks, and your feedback is important to our Quality Assurance Team. We would love to hear more about your experience and assist you further, so please call us at (800) 374-9429.

Works to Kill Fruit Flies and Gnats

I like this Zevo Flying Insect Killer Spray. During a recent infestation of gnats/fruit flies, it was most helpful in getting rid of these pests. Highly rccommend.

effective against fruit flies, safe around pets

This product has good and bad features., Starting with the good it is extremely effective against fruit flies. I had tried Raid and Hot shot sprays which were very effective against houseflies but completely ineffective against fruit flies. The raid spray would literally knock a house fly out of the air but the fruit flies didn't mind swimming in the stuff. Now the bad stuff. It is expensive and its delivery system is poor. Ecologically it is good. It is safe around pets and humans. No aerosols. just a pump spray. However the pump spray doesn't always work and seems sort of loose. This is a problem because the spray is a contact killer. It has to be sprayed directly on the insect. While you are fuming with the pump spray the insect has a chance to fly away. The good thing is that if you manage to spray the fruit fly the spray works and the fruit fly mis a goner. If you have a fruit fly problem that you can't solve with apple cider vinegar traps and fly ribbons then this product is worthwhile and necessary. .
