Beyblade X Helm Knight 3-80N Starter Pack Set with Defense Type Battling Top & Launcher, Ages 8+

If you're looking to get into Beyblade X, a starter pack is the logical place to start. It'd probably be nicer to start with the stadium set, which includes 2 tops (with launchers) and a stadium. That would be a fantastic way to experience the game, but the price tag is about $50 - a little steep if you're just looking for a taste. This starter pack includes an Entry Launcher, a small ripcord-powered launcher that gets the job done. It's not particularly powerful or comfortable to use, so you'll probably upgrade to a Winder Launcher or String Launcher if you decide to keep playing. The included Beyblade, Dran Sword 3-60 F, is really cohesive. Dran Sword is a very effective Blade for attacking. Its aggressive shape can wear down with continued use, but even then, it'll remain solid. The 3-60 Ratchet is pretty good, with a low height for good reach when attacking, and the Flat Bit offers an aggressive movement pattern. If you like the build, you can keep it as-is, and it'll function quite well, but you can also further customize it with different parts (once you get them). Taper is another pretty good bit for Dran Sword, offering similarly aggressive movement with better stamina, while Low Flat leans further into attacking, improving attack potential at the expense of some stamina. Should you decide to customize, Flat can be a good Attack-type Bit for other builds, and 3-60 is a solid low-height Ratchet (with a relatively minor gripe that it's also found in other Beyblade packs, such as Keel Shark 3-60 F). As a starting point for Beyblade X, I think Dran Sword 3-60 F is excellent. It's a very competent build at a very reasonable price.
