earlier I thought it would be loose near thigh and hence long panty would require but its perfect fit to thigh and hence its safe even if kids sit relaxed position on couch. My daughter loves the color and fabric and says its really soft and comfortable. But yes for my 13 years old daughter I bought the largest size though she is avg weight.
