I live in hot and humid place and the temperature can go up to 90. But I need to do my regular walk daily. I tried using different fan while walking but it's either too big or much energy consuming. This tiny fan is easy to carry and though tiny it serves it's purpose of cooling. It consumes less energy. I've been using it for 1 week daily, 1-2 hr per day and single battery is serving its purpose. I bet this single battery will last long. The on/off switch was little tight in the beginning but it has loosen up with use and now easy to glide. This thing has soft plastic blades and it won't hurt you even if you stop it with your hand. I don't mean put your hand in to stop it but what I meant is there is no fear of injury, hence can be used even by toddlers. And, no you don't have to add water or double battery in this. Just buy it, put in single battery and there is on off gliding switch and cool off .... easy!!

It's compact to keep in my purse. I have one in my car. Another in the house. Came with a battery. Always a plus. I use it inside and outside. My little dog was hot one day and I used it to cool her down, too. Works very well. And I like the rubber blades for safety.
