I'm obsessed with this little clock--I bought one 3 years ago ((which has no issues) but bought 3 more as they're very hard to find. The clock (when using the battery option) does go pitch black which is what I wanted as I like a very dark room when I sleep--just tap the top, it'll show the time for about 8 seconds, then dark again. Had no idea I'd love the day-of-week feature but OMG I so DO, LOL!! Just sayin'...;o]...T.
