Great item, especially for the price

This is my second purchase of this scratching post. My cats love it and very enthusiasticly use it. It is a good height and weighty enough that it doesn't tip over. It is very easy to assemble and very sturdy. I bought a second one as my cats had used their 1st one so much that they had scratched all the seisel off of it. The post itself is still in perfect shape and I plan to buy more rope to hot glue on it so they can use it again in another part of the house. Meanwhile, they have already started using their new one right out of the box. Great product, especially for the price.

Arthritic hands, but this was super easy to put together, and even an Allen Wrench is included! My Cat Figaro loves it and I truly hope he stops scratching woodwork. (This purchase is my last attempt before I search for a Veteranarian who does declawing. My being scrated and bit the one time I managed to carefully clip his front claws "is cruel" too.)

Great scratching post

This comes in a couple of pieces, but it took less than 1 minute to assemble, no tools required, just screw the pieces together. The post is fairly tall, I have 2 full grown cats that have EC, meaning they walk like they are drunk, they love to stand up, dig their claws in and then chase a feather toy. They are stable and can't fall over with their claws in and man do they ever "dance" around with their bodies trying to get that feather toy I attached to it. The base is large, fairly heavy weight, but most importantly, stable. So far, all 5 of my "outdoor" cats that are currently indoors due to weather and just getting spayed/neutered, love this scratching post.
