I definitely think the extra two dollars for this dog bed is worth it. I usually buy the seven dollar dog beds for my cats. This one was so much more cozy. Seems like they put extra stuffing. Very cute and soft. From now on, I will be purchasing this one plus it's a little bit bigger, which I like. For reference, I have two cats and they sleep in here comfortably every night.

A dog bed for a big cat

My cat is huge - 18 pounds. Can reach the counter. He loves this bed. Perfect for him to curl up in. He has rejected a few beds, a new bigger one I placed right beside, but this one he got right in almost before it was unpacked. It is durable, washable, nice soft inside material. The sides are high so wraps around him.
