Perfect height for my nearly 2 year old son to get up on. It is a beautiful espresso color as well. My only issue is that it was a little too small for the Spa Sensations 8" memory foam mattress I also bought for my son. But I managed to tuck it into the bedframe. Very easy to assemble.
