I LOVE this pot! I use it so often. Especially everytime that I make soups. It is sturdy and stands up to heat well. It actually has me looking into changing all of my pots to cast iron. This was a great buy. You would need to invest in the right pot holders, I recommend silicone, because the handles and the top of the lid gets hot as well. You will love how your food comes out if you were to make this investment.
