So far, these are the best OTC I have used. Turning them on and off, and dealing with the over-ear piece are minor trade-offs for good hearing. I take my eyeglasses off first for best placement.

They work

These are a pleasant surprise. I am not new to OTC aids, having used the ear bud style for a few years. I got these because I was curious about the over-the-ear type. These are a little more work, but within the bit I got it straightened out. I had to search online several times before I found the secret to twisting open the wax guard pack. All of the packaging was way overdone, mystifying and elegant; I wonder why? People should be patient about coordinating Volume and Mode, but once set, you are good to go. It takes a bit of time.
