So far so good, I guess time will tell in the end. I do use it for my back and I generally lie down with the pad between me and what I'm lying on, but it says not to do that or to fall asleep on it in the brochure, I sit up against pillows with the pad behind me so that I don't fall asleep with it behind me. One thing that I don't particularly care for is that they say to unplug it when not in use. I noticed that the control was a bit warm when it was off and plugged in, so I have to get into the habit of unplugging it all the time. Kind of annoying but eh.

This pad is so great! Well made and dependable. Best to use it under your blanket and turn your household heat down- you'll save a lot of money over the winter. I have one that's several years old and I never had a single problem so I bought this one for another bedroom. I can't say enough positive things about this item.

The heat pad is accurate as described, delivered to my door and I was notified right away with a picture where it is located on my porch. It's cover is soft, good brown color, cord is long enough and 5 settings and perfect. It automatically turns off after 2 hours for safety reasons, which is great, if you accidentally fall asleep with it on. I always buy my items online from Walmart, because I can return them, which I rarely do.
