Lychee filter has a unique multi-filtration system that filters the impurities completely to provide superior water quality:

First layer: The strainer captures large pieces of debris and fish faeces.

Second layer: The cartridge with carbon removes odors, discoloration and impurities.

Third layer: Porous bio-sponges, cartridges and filter foam can quickly filter impurities, making the water clear and providing a quality living environment for aquarium pets.
Increases the water flow and adsorbs some fish poop at the same time; suitable for 30-50 Gallon Aquariums

How to clean the Lychee filter?

1.When the water output decreases or comes out of the drainage tank, pull up the filter holder from the water, open the filter cover and remove all parts (including the porous biological sponge, filter element and filter foam) for cleaning or replacement.

2.Pour off the remaining water in the filter tank and remove any sand or residue present.

3.Remove the extension tube, surface skimmer, surface skimmer seat and intake tube.

4.Check and clear all parts for debris that could cause a clog. Reassemble the system and place it back in the tank.

seems like a good filter so far, very silent but a little more powerful than I wanted but maybe that's good. Only thing I want to note is that when you first turn it on it better have water in it already or it will scream loudly till filled
