Great Christmas gift from my son
My son bought me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it . It was a nice building experience and looks great on display. I had the 855 technic crane when I was 10 in 1980 this new set made me feel like I did back then very happy 😊

It's exactly what you expect based on the photos. The color pops so much more in real life, and it is deceptively large. It's as stable as you can get not being a purely Technic©️ set. The toilet is also incredible and I want to make a bunch more now.

Great Set Overall, Still Room For Improvement.
From my experience of buying, making and operating this Lego Construction Mobile Crane. It has its positives and negatives hence why I have given this one a 4 star rating. The set is not easy nor too difficult to build but it took me two days at a weekend to build. Whilst this is fine for me. There is 1116 parts in the set and some parts are technic parts that is more for the functional features of the crane if anything. Once built and it comes with some minifigures that are colourful and match the set nicely. You can use the two dials to operating the crane arm and the second dial operates the hook winch. However these on my example were a bit tight and I had to move dial slightly back to loosen up the tension. But it is solid and it will not slop or droop about which is what I like about the functionality of the crane. There is two pegs to secure the crane arm into place when in use. You get four legs that extrude out and clip into four plates when the crane is in use and that makes it realistic and a very impressive machine to look at. The portable toilet that comes as a load for the crane to move about is okay but I would have loved it if Lego had supplied a concrete pipe (obviously not the real thing lol) or a structure steel beam as a load to add alternative scenarios to the playtime with this set. That aside, I really love this set but the reason I would only recommend this set for intermediate/experienced builders is due to the higher volume of parts that might be overwhelming for newcomers into Lego builds. If you do like Lego construction vehicles though, this one is a must because it does offer a nice amount of play time and even when not set up. This 10 wheeled monster is a beauty to look at (or at least in my experience). Recommended.
