Have only had this scale for a few days and used very little to this point, so I can't speak to durability, but I did check accuracy with several standard weights (from 10 grams to 2000 grams (4.4 lbs)) and most were dead nuts on. The others were only off by a gram or 2 (excellent) and the 2000 gram was off by 5 grams (0.25% - next to nothing! And the actual weight may be the one that's “off”, not the scale!) So if it holds up, it will be great!
