Better Homes & Gardens Hyacinth Basket with Lid

This is a great little basket for hiding away cords. It's small enough to tuck out of the way but provides ample hidden storage space with its easy-to-open hinged lid. I fit a small power strip and two laptop charging bricks plus cables in this basket which allowed me to get them off the floor and prevent dust buildup. The water hyacinth fibers are relatively breathable and the handle holes provide further air flow plus a convenient place to route cords. I used this in my classroom to create a small laptop charging station. The laptops will only be passively charging so I'm not worried about heat. I typically provide more airspace for heat dissipation by using larger hyacinth boxes but this one was the perfect size for the small space. It would also be the perfect size for a bathroom counter or a laundry room. I might get one for my bathroom counter items and paint it white.
