Synthesizer With FM, Analog, and Wave Engines For Versatile Sound Design

The Montage M8x features three distinct sound engines that combine for a total of 400-note polyphony. The FM-X engine utilizes 8-operator FM synthesis with 88 algorithms, delivering modern, dynamic tones and detailed control. Its Smart Morphing capabilities allow you to create complex, evolving textures that push boundaries. Next, the AWM sampling engine offers doubled polyphony at 256 notes, with 10GB of preset waveforms and nearly 4GB of flash memory for custom sounds. Finally, the AN-X analog engine adds 16 voices of classic warmth, from fat basslines to experimental sonic landscapes. This trio empowers musicians to explore vast tonal possibilities.

Expressive control is at the heart of this synthesizer. The polyphonic aftertouch on the weighted-action keybed lets you shape sound with unparalleled nuance. The updated ribbon controller, dedicated portamento settings, and real-time hold button provide additional layers of performance expression. These features allow players to seamlessly transition between studio work and live performance, maintaining creativity without compromise.

The Pure Analog Circuit 2 ensures pristine audio reproduction, delivering clear harmonic detail and even frequency response. Whether you're laying down tracks in a DAW or amplifying your sound on stage, this signal path guarantees professional-grade results. The VCM Rotary Speaker effect and drawbar behavior bring authentic organ tones into your setup, while the workstation's robust build ensures reliable performance in demanding environments.

The dual-screen interface on the Montage M8x streamlines navigation for sound design and live use. Faster screen response and touch functionality allow quick adjustments, while the display knobs simplify operation. Smart Morphs make complex sound editing as intuitive as flipping a switch. These refinements ensure you spend less time programming and more time creating.
