This clock was bought to replace an older 14” ticking clock. That clock worked well for the first 18 years and then it began to lose time. This one is new so I can't speak to its longevity but it is extremely accurate and completely silent with perpetual motion for the second hand. It's a fantastic replacement clock for a very good price.
