I get too cold or too warm very easily. These leggings are warm, but not too warm to wear on a shopping trip or in the office all day. I live half a mile from my office, and these keep me warm enough on my bike on 30-40 degree days if there's not too much wind. If it's colder than that, windy, or rainy, I wear rain pants or snow pants over them and I'm fine.
