I bought this for my 3-month-old granddaughter then bought another one when it got lost/mislaid/who knows. Anyway, it is an. understatement to say she is fascinated by the black-and-white images. There are times when I think she is actually communicating with the octopus in some secret silent code. She loves that particular image so much I bought her a stuffed octopus, which is now her lovey. To get her to sleep, her parents prop the triangle in her crib and she stares at it and falls asleep, at which point they remove it. It was a total game-changer. I'm sure she'll love the colors side as well. Buy this!
