it pretty much works as described, I had to put salt on to get steam. it's compact which I like. my only complaint is that the lid really does not lock. I did not put any Vicks in the cup to see how that works for congestion.

Works great and just the right size

I had initially thought it would be a bit smaller, but it is sufficient and it is working great. I've been using it every day and I have not been disappointed. The hot mist is coming out very well and it is working for exactly what I needed. I would highly recommend this one for hot steam. I have dry eye from fatigue and it is helping the stinging and leaking and everything else that comes with that. It's great product. I do not use aromatherapy in it currently. Filling it is easy and sleeping with. It is easy because it's not loud. So the sleep mode is great. And yes, it does auto shut off. Automatically shuts off.
