Ecojoy 300L 1/3 HP Aquarium Chiller Water Chiller Hydroponic Tank Cooler With Remote

Let's start this review with that I live in Ft. Lauderdale, and have a outdoor 55 gal. fish tank in the middle of my two columns on my pool. This is actually beautiful, especially at night when the sun goes down, and the fish tank is lite-up (one cool-white light mounted above the tank), it looks like a HDTV. That said ... Last year in June, I lost ALL my fish about 14 fish were floating on the top one day! Wasn't sure why that happen??? Kept the tank "fish-less" for a couple of months, then got more fish, again 14 fish. All was good for MANY months until this July when AGAIN I noticed "floaters"!!! This time not ALL, but most were dead! Four were still swimming ... yea! Now you can get me once, maybe twice, but NEVER a third time, so I did my research. I googled what is the best temp. to be maintained in an outdoor fish tank, and found out that it should be maintained between 75 and 80 degrees. Well if my pool temp. in June and July is as high as 86 to 88 degrees, I would say that's the SAME temp. that will be in my 55 gal. tank. I learned that above the temperatures of 75 to 80 degrees DECREASED the oxygen levels in the water, so both times my fish suffocated!!!! Hence, I went-out and bought this aquarium water chiller from Walmart. Caught it on sale for half price of what it normally sells for (looked-up the cost of the EXACT model on both eBay and Amazon), and saw that Walmart was selling it for half-price. Bought it, hooked it up to my fish tank, and set it for 79 degrees. It's been about a month now, and it's working PERFECTLY maintaining my water temp at 79 degrees. Needless to say my present fish are swimming happily and ALL look healthy. I would say "BUY IT" if your situation is similar to mine. "The TV Man"
