Better Homes & Gardens 2 Piece Culinary Kitchen Towel, Blue Linen

Finding good absorbant towels has been challenging. These towels are a solid good value especially for the price. I lbought the white and black color and bought 3 pairs = 6 towels total. I also like the generous size. I'm a sewist, for vesatility I cut 2 towels in half and made 4 smaller sized towels. Providing me with 4 large and 4 half sized towels or 8 towels total. This ups them to an excellent value. They absorb water quite well from dinnerware, flatware and counter tops. Each time I wash them the absorbancy improves. The towels appearance look smart and clean in my kitchen. The color range and patterns are stylish and versatile. The stripe and tweed patterns together are very appealing. The Tweed pattern is a looser weave so it does have a tendancy to snag a bit but it's not a deal changer for me. For that reason I did subtract 1 point from the quality. All in all, they are a very good value. I 100% recommend them.

These kitchen towels are a pleasant surprise. The first thing I noticed was the size—they are generously sized compared to many kitchen towels and are actually useful for everyday kitchen tasks. The blue linen color has a subtle, understated elegance that works well in a variety of kitchen styles. There is a slight rustic feel to the fabric and appearance, but it still looks refined rather than overly casual. The quality also stands out. The material feels substantial and well made, with good stitching and a nice weight. They are attractive enough to leave on display yet practical enough for daily use. If you like kitchen textiles that are simple, classic, and a little rustic without looking country-themed, these towels strike a nice balance.
