I am hypersensitive and needle phobic.So it's hard for me to get needle based testing. That being said, this test is fantastic. If the hesitation is pain, the worst thing that you have to do mind over matter for is pressing that red button. You will hear what sounds like a rubber brand thwack and the blood will start filling the container. You do not feel anything till that device comes off. You get a dull pain definitely is akin to when you sprain a muscle and it's healing and you feel a little throb. But nothing like doctor's office needle pain which can be excruciating. This is something that's going to keep me and other safe because I can use this more often with confidence now.
