after seeing heated blankets all over social media I finally caved and got one, this was far less expensive than anything else, and fits my bed prefectly. I got a full to lay across a queen bed' s top. put it on top of a cotton comforter or you'll get sweaty. The cord is very long, I preheat myself in the bed at setting 4 (old farmhouse no heat upstairs) while ai listen to an audio nook or podcast. then shut it off and go to sleep. When I wake up I reach over and preheat myself again before getting up, then unplug it for the day. I feel it's safe being on top of a comforter as it is less likely to get a sharp fold that could damage it's wiring. The best part is, its machine washable! (carefully) I have a triple clotheline so drying should be easy. It's reccomend to soak for 15min in gentle soap, agitate for a couple minutes and rinse on hand wash setting then to lay it across atleast 2 lines to dry. I will wash it when I spring clean. I lay a quilt over my bed by day to keep it clean, but not when its on at night.

I purchased the Marnur Electric Blanket as a gift for my older Aunts and one for myself to test the operation. The blanket is full size and cover my full size bed. The blanket is soft and attractive. The control is light weight and easy to operate. Very comforting. Setting 3 is warm and cozy. I know my aunts will enjoy them.
