Graham-Field LF1600 Lumex Stand Assist Padded Patient Lift Transport Unit

This is an AWESOME transport device -- although it could could stand to lose a few pounds itself, or be motorized (pulling it over carpet is more difficult than tile or wood floors). Compared to over $3 grand for the original Sera Steady, the cost makes this device the best value. There are 2 models, so be sure to get the one that has the pedal to open the back "legs" to fit around wheelchairs and toilets! This model also has the dual seats that flip into place (the less expensive model does not have adjustable legs and the seats have a pin that holds them in place, so those must be pulled out before the seats will move, more difficult for the caregiver). All in all a great value and excellent construction. It does take some assembly but instructions were easy to follow. There are lots of YouTube videos to demo how it's used but not how to put together which would be a great help! Very very happy with this, it's much easier to haul my 360 lb husband around!
