The Compost Keeper is a one-gallon attractive ceramic jar. It is thick and sturdy. It looks good on a kitchen countertop. Store peelings, egg shells, coffee grounds, table scraps, clippings, and other vegetables. Later transfer it to your garden compost pile. The compost keeper works best as a temporary holder for these items.
Has a sturdy stainless steel handle for easy transport.
Care Instructions: Hand wash the composter in hot soapy water and dry thoroughly.
Use replacement filter #93F. Change the filter approximately every 6 months, depending on use. That time can be affected by heat and humidity in your area. Each filter is 5.625 in diameter.
Let food cool down before putting it into the composter. Do not put hot or warm products into the composter. Moisture from warm products can decrease the time for changing the filter.
Measures: 10.5 x 8 x 7.25 / 26.5cm x 20cm x 18.5cm. Capacity: 1 Gallon.

easy to clean, perfect size for countertop, has a filter to keep food scraps from smelling. Small size is perfect for our house, wanted one small enough that way its easy to carry to the green waste and so that we don't have a huge compost on our counter. If you're looking for one that you don't have to take out daily or you don't want it filled up in one day, this size isn't fit you but if you want a small one that don't take up much space this one is the right size for you.
