Propper Men's M65 Field Coat

Upon initial inspection, the quality of this field jacket seems to be equal to those I had issued to me while in the Navy. The cut is true to the originals, unlike some other reproduction field jackets on the market. It is warm and comfortable. I haven't washed it yet, so I don't know if there will be any shrinkage or threads coming loose. Overall, I'm happy with it.

I have 2 original 1980's US Army BDU M-65s in Large Long that I wear at the ranch. I bought this one in black to wear in public. I purchased the XL L (I'm 6'5") because it is has the extra liner included which increases the overall bulk and fit of the jacket. It is the same sizing as the original (runs larger as the military intended).The outside material is a little different (lower quality) and the internal lining is not rip stop as the original. Plastic zipper instead of original brass, but of good quality. It lacks the button slots on the collar, but are unnecessary unless you have an original military winter hood. For the pricing compared to others, this was a good choice.
